Based in the East Riding of Yorkshire...

Helen spent many years working in advertising as a Graphic Designer after gaining her degree in Graphic Design / Illustration. Throughout this time she also pursued her own personal artwork with a keen interest in nature. She has exhibited and sold paintings both locally and nationally and produced artwork for websites and print.

Having completed a course in Botanical Illustration, Helen now specialises in painting plants, fruit and vegetables in watercolour, combining her passion for gardening and food.

"I enjoy growing my own vegetables. It is a great opportunity for me to paint and sketch the plants in their various stages, with the advantage of being able to eat the produce afterwards!"
